Why the hell does this no longer work:

sudo su - webedit -c emacs webdir/

Redhat Enterprise 4, no problem. 5? Spews chunks and hoses the term emulation. What, did it take too long testing the random changes you made to the distro in between the two so you decided to just ship it? How the hell are we even to figure out what caused the change, let alone what to report to your bugzilla so it can be completely forgotten?

What's the point?
